Father Christmas came to visit - hull #1 is now out of the mold

Hull #1 is out of the mold and was wheeled into our production facility yesterday. We are pleased to find that the hull is 100 per cent perfect. Transparent epoxy on the surface does not allow for any speculation regarding the laminate quality, as any dry spots would show without mercy. On another note, it is intensely rewarding for the whole team to see one’s brainchild come alive in this way. Speaking mainly for myself, I find that having the “real thing” here is quite a different story from just reading lines plans; one’s three dimensional imagination never has the same impact that the actual real thing has. Having the hull in our production facility is also a great morale booster as we now have very tangible, hard to ignore proof of project progress available for all to see. We are now off for a deserved Christmas break but stay tuned as we will publish some more images shortly. Wishing all avid sailors Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year, Anders
