Insane, Mad, Scramble Towards the Finishing Line

Anders Kurtén Most of you have already connected the dots – as Splash date gets closer the schedule gets more and more hectic… The bad news is we still have loads of work to do before 43001 is ready to be wheeled out the door for her Splash and Christening party. Which incidentally also means less time to spend writing blog comments :( The good news is that it really honestly looks like we are going to make it! The only “BIG” component as yet untested is the lead “torpedo” for the performance T keel, but it showed up minutes ago and will be connected with the blade today. The yacht will be keeled during the weekend and the last days will be spent in laying the finishing touches to the interior. I will try to keep you posted at least with one more blog before the images of the boat being craned into the water will be broadcast. Hopefully with the caption “We Did It!” Ever stomping towards the Deadline…
